We are accepting submissions for the 23rd World Community Film Festival (www.worldcommunity.ca) to be held in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada January 31 and February 1, 2014.
There is no entry fee. Simply forward a DVD (NTSC) to the address below. Alternatively, if there is a way to preview online with a password, that would be great.
Our festival is a juried, non-competitive event focusing on social justice and environmental issues and the struggles of people for peace and justice around the world. We purchase DVD copies of all successful entries with non-commercial public performance rights for multiple screenings.
We screen 25 – 30 DVDs , almost exclusively documentaries, at our main festival, and we sponsor the Travelling World Community Film Festival in several communities in B.C. and the rest of Canada.
