GMO OMG director and concerned father Jeremy Seifert is in search of answers. How might GMOs affect our children, the health of our planet, and our freedom of choice? These and other questions take Seifert on a journey from his family’s table to Haiti, Paris, Norway, and the lobby of agra-giant Monsanto, from which he is unceremoniously ejected. Along the way we gain insight into a question that is of growing concern to citizens the world over: what’s on your plate?

GMO OMG explores the systematic corporate takeover and potential loss of humanity’s most precious and ancient inheritance: seeds. How does corporate control of the seed supply increase costs to farmers and consumers? What have Indian farmers experienced growing crops with GMO seeds? Why does Norway use the precautionary principle to ban GMOs from their seed bank? Do we need GMOs in order to feed the world’s growing population?
