Film screening: The People and the Olive

World Community hosts the inspiring film, The People and the Olive (70 min). Ultra marathoners from the US run across Palestine in 5 days and learn about the struggles of olive farmers while raising money to replace uprooted olive trees. The runners’ motto: Beyond politics, Beyond barriers, Beyond “us and them”. You will learn a little about the fair trade olive oil Zatoun – the same product sold by World Community.
