The CV Global Awareness Network (CVGAN) is an initiative conceived by Comox Valley people involved in social justice and international development, in order to support their actions around social justice and global awareness. The CVGAN focuses on capacity-building, networking, and learning through regional forums, events and workshops focused delivered in flexible, creative, and innovative ways. Membership in CVGAN is free.
The CVGAN is encouraged by the BC Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC), a coalition of individuals and NGO’s working to achieve sustainable human development across the globe, and receives funding from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) via the BCCIC.
